Don’t forget to sign up for the trip to the USS Yorktown. Applications are due for the trip to Charleston, SC and the USS Yorktown. Remind parents they should arrive Friday evening (get a hotel!) to be able to go aboard at 9:00am Saturday. You may also want to coordinate the excursion activity within your den if many of you want to go together. Scouters Academy 2008
Our Council had their annual Scouter’s Academy this past weekend. For those of you that have never been (this was my first) it is a day of training for scout leaders on a wide variety of areas that help make you a better leader for your boys as well as give you great ideas. This year, they are providing all the handouts from the various classes on a website for anyone that is interested in looking. Want Ideas for crafts at your den meeting or for neckerchief slides? Go have a look!!

Nov 23 - Scout Day at the Atlanta Falcons – 1:00pm Georgia Dome Come cheer the Falcons as they square off on the gridiron against the Carolina Panthers. Tickets start at $30.00.
